Auditions for Kapiti Playhouse’s second production of 2012, Educating Rita, will be held from 10.30am onwards on Sunday 10th June.

The play, directed by Tim Yarrow, calls for two characters:

• Frank : Approximately 40s—60s
• Rita : mid 20s—late 30s

Both roles will require English accents (northern for Rita).  Perusal scripts available from Paper Plus, Coastlands.  For audition time, please call Rita Ann on 905-8297.

If you’re not interested in acting, there’s plenty of ways available for you to be involved. We are looking for Assistant director, Production manager, Props, Wardrobe, Lighting and Sound.

This could also be an ideal production for someone who would like to obtain experience as a stage manager. And of course as always we’re looking for help with publicity and front of house, and set builders are always in high demand!
