Set in an old farmhouse, I’ll Be Back Before Midnight! is the story of married couple Greg and Jan. Greg, an archeologist working at a nearby quarry, has brought Jan, just out of hospital after suffering a nervous breakdown, to the country to recover. Both hope to renew their marriage.

When the landlord, a bumbling scotch-drinking farmer, tells Jan about a murder that occurred in the living room and about ghosts and reappearing blood stains, he immediately sets her on edge. The arrival of Greg’s beautiful, hostile sister kick-starts a plot of fear, murder and mystery.

Auditions for I’ll Be Back Before Midnight!, by Peter Colley and directed by Mark Harris, will be held on Sunday 3rd September at Kapiti Playhouse Theatre. Scripts will be available at Paper Plus in Coastlands from Wednesday 23 August.
